Bio
Iyana “YaNi” Davis is an internationally recognized Performance Artist, Author, Spiritual Life Coach, Creative Flow Strategist, and Minister, deeply committed to helping others awaken their sacred creative intuition. Through her work, she inspires individuals to embrace authentic living and experience bold healing, guiding them to tap into their creative power and live fully in peace and wholeness. Known for her dedication to building community, compassion, and creativity, YaNi has worked with a diverse array of clients and collaborators across the globe. From her role as a motivational speaker and educator to her impact as a poet, musician, and teaching artist, she seeks to elevate and empower on an individual and global scale.
Her extensive credentials include a Masters of Divinity from Claremont School of Theology, Masters of Professional Studies in Entrepreneurship focusing on the Business of Art and Design,

a Bachelors in English from Spelman College, and numerous certifications in spiritual, business, and literary fields. YaNi is the mastermind behind the Peace People’s Movement, which unites people through hip-hop, healing, and wholeness as instruments of activation. As a performer, she has opened for major artists such as Janelle Monae, PJ Morton, and Richard Smallwood, and has released eight albums blending spoken word, spirituals, and Hip-Hop remixes with hymns. YaNi made her acting debut in 2024 starring in the play “I Said, She Said” by Eclectic Studios. She has developed the methodology “Wholly Hip-Hop Hermeneutics,” merging the power of Nommo, Black liberation theology, Womanist thought, and the rich culture of Hip-Hop.
A kidney transplant survivor, YaNi founded My SupaNatural Life (MSNL), a nonprofit supporting individuals with chronic and mental health conditions, and their healthcare providers. Through her work with MSNL and her project The SupaNatural Way, YaNi is redefining healthcare standards by integrating mindful coaching and spiritual care to foster healing in the physical, emotional, and spiritual realms.
YaNi is also the author of Love Poems for Peace, and believes deeply in the power of words, storytelling, and truth-telling for healing. Her passion for writing and speaking empowers others to transform their lives and embrace their full potential. Known as the PeacePastor, YaNi’s life and work exemplify her core belief: through authentic living, bold healing, and creative expression, we can transform ourselves and the world around us—one word, one heart, and one life at a time.
When she isn’t speaking or performing, YaNi enjoys spending time with her nephew, Jackson, and exploring the city for the best ramen spots. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA, and continues to call Queens, NY, home.
